  • Sharelle is a communications expert with almost 20 years of experience in corporate communications, public affairs and stakeholder engagement. Prior to establishing TriComm Consulting, she was an executive for various organisations including the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), Department of Defence and the ACT Government.

    Sharelle’s background in communications, media and strategy has seen her advise and support senior leaders from ministers and managing directors to military and government officials. She has developed and executed successful communications, engagement and government relations strategies across industries as diverse as Defence, media, government, transport and infrastructure. Sharelle knows what resonates with stakeholders and has assisted organisations manage and communicate change while driving growth. She has led high-performing teams through a myriad of complex issues and supported the delivery of Canberra’s light rail network. She is adept at attracting and influencing new audiences and was instrumental in increasing the ABC’s reach through her management of national campaigns for Stargazing Live and War on Waste.

    Sharelle brings a wealth of experience to clients. She is a reputation and crisis management specialist, has coached executives and delivered workshops and presentations to international audiences.

    Sharelle is passionate about giving back to the community and was an Adviser to the Council for Women and Families United by Defence Service, which informed the Australian Government on matters affecting women, veterans and Defence families. Sharelle is a graduate of the Australian Defence Force’s distinguished Australian Command and Staff College. She holds a Master of Military and Defence Studies from the Australian National University and a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Communication (Journalism and Public Relations) from RMIT University.

  • Kirsten is highly sought-after for her top-level media, strategic communications and marketing skills, backed by more than 30 years’ experience. She is a powerful communicator and advocate, a trusted and politically savvy advisor, and a nimble problem-solver who delivers strategies that work.

    Kirsten has excelled as a strategic and crisis communications executive across a range of corporate, government and not-for-profit organisations, drawing on knowledge gained from her time as a Senior Political Advisor, Chief Marketing Officer, broadcast journalist and newsroom Chief of Staff. Her vast experience ranges from leading the Queensland Government’s strategic communications through the COVID-19 peak and advising a new Chief Health Officer, to delivering nuanced communications plans for new legislation, rebranding organisations, and presenting live news and current affairs for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) and British Broadcasting Corporation.

    Kirsten thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and has led trusted brands and top-performing teams through crises and change. She uses her highly developed news instincts to help organisations ensure they are ahead of the news cycle and protect their brand. Kirsten takes an integrated approach to marketing, media and communication, with a focus on reputation and brand building – creating impact while improving efficiency. She is particularly passionate about jargon busting, clever strategy communicated clearly, and inspiring leadership.

    She has led and trained teams for a range of organisations including the ABC, University of Queensland, University of Southern Queensland, Queensland Premier’s Office, Department of Justice and Attorney-General, QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, Queensland Health, and Trade and Investment Queensland. Kirsten’s experience, nous, and integrity are supported by executive leadership training from Oxford University, a Political Science degree from Deakin University, and a Master of Business (Marketing) with Distinction from QUT.

  • Catherine is a highly respected advisor and facilitator, sought after to support leadership teams with their communication, stakeholder engagement and collaborative planning. Her skills are built on 25 years’ experience in change management, organisation development and human resources, where effective communication is critical to success.

    Catherine’s work spans a diverse range of industries including financial services, professional services, telecommunications, energy, not-for-profit, and all levels of government. She has led global, national and hybrid teams in Australia, the UK and Europe through structural, technological and behavioural change, impacting up to 30,000 people. KPMG, Colonial First State Investments, ACT Government, Department of Veteran Affairs and the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation are among the organisations that have benefited from her expertise.

    She now guides large and small teams – from volunteers to executives, employees and community members. Catherine designs initiatives that motivate people to engage in the changes they will experience, developing a culture of ownership and accountability. She also coaches people through workplace transformation and loves facilitating conversations that bring people together to achieve shared goals. Her collaborative approach inspires participation, cements understanding, leads to action and in turn builds capability.

    Catherine has a Bachelor of Commerce specialising in Marketing and Organisational Behaviour from Griffith University and has studied Strategic Human Resources Management at the Australian Graduate School of Management. She has also completed a Foundation in NeuroLeadership with the NeuroLeadership Institute. Catherine is on the Board of the YMCA Canberra Region and is a member of the International Association of Facilitators.
